About the role
Bosch's workload automation function provides customer-facing advisory for internal business units, focusing on application-level workflow orchestration, hyperautomation, and AI-driven innovation. The work revolves around enterprise workload automation platforms such as Redwood RunMyJobs and Broadcom Automic (UC4), integrated through scripting and REST/SOAP APIs. This consultant designs intelligent application workflows, eliminates manual touchpoints, and partners with business stakeholders to drive hands-off execution.
What you will do
- As a Workload Automation Consultant, you will be the primary customer-facing advisor for our internal business units.
- Instead of maintaining backend platform infrastructure, your mission is to design intelligent, application-level workflows, eliminate manual touchpoints, and pioneer AI-driven automation innovations directly with our customers.
- Focus Area: Customer-Facing Solution Design, Application-Level Workflow Orchestration, AI & Hyperautomation Innovation
Skills used in this role
What the employer is looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Advanced Redwood RunMyJobs certifications (preferred).
- The "Automate Everything" DNA: You have a strong bias for action and a passion for finding automated solutions to manual problems. You strive for 100% hands-off execution.
- Consultative & Client-Facing: Excellent communication and presentation skills in English. You can comfortably bridge the gap between technical developers and non-technical business partners.
- Growth Mindset: Highly motivated to continuously learn, experiment with emerging tech (like GenAI and LLMs), and challenge the status quo.
- Workload Automation Expertise: Strong practical experience in designing and configuring application workflows in enterprise systems such as Redwood RunMyJobs (RMJ), Broadcom Automic (UC4) or similar workload automation tools.
- Scripting & APIs: Proven proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell, or JavaScript) and working with REST/SOAP APIs to integrate disparate systems.
- AI & Automation Tools: Familiarity or hands-on experience with AI/ML concepts, Generative AI APIs, or Robotic Process Automation (RPA) tools is highly desirable.
- No Infrastructure Overhead: Understanding of OS architectures (Linux, Windows) is required, but you are excited that your core focus is on delivering business value at the application layer, not server maintenance.
Benefits and support
- Compensation and benefits are detailed in the job posting
