About the role
Bosch's automotive diagnostics team works on diagnostic content generation for the Bosch IAM tool chain and on vehicle communication network and ECU/ADAS diagnostics. The work spans vehicle diagnostic content authoring and validation, reverse engineering with vehicle simulators, and calibration of ADAS application sequences. This role is for an individual developer who will handle OEM/IAM vehicle diagnostic tools, ECU system testing and diagnostics, and diagnostic data authoring using Vector and Samtec toolchains.

- Vehicle testing & diagnostics of various ECU
- ADAS application sequence creation & calibration

What the employer is looking for
- Automotive diagnostic Knowledge knowledge in Vehicle communication network (CAN/SAE/Flexray/LIN/KWP/MOST/UDS/CANFD/DOIP)
- Experience in handling OEM/IAM Vehicle Diagnostic tools
- Experience in Vehicle diagnostic content authoring & Validation
- Experience in reverse engineering process and its implementation/validation using vehicle simulator
- Strong knowledge in Vehicle communication network (CAN/SAE/Flexray/LIN/KWP/MOST/UDS) and related protocols
- Experience in Vehicle testing & diagnostics of various ECU(Electronic Control Unit) systems
- Thorough knowledge of diagnostic assets (Identification, DTC, Sensor data, Actuators and Special Tests)
- Experience in Vector tools and Samtec tools such as CANdela, CANoe, CANdiva , ODX Studio, HSX and HS+., ODX data and AUTOSAR is preferable
- Vehicle knowledge with ADAS controllers with calibration/Reset functions
- Experience in ADAS application sequence creation & calibration of the same
- Able to extract service manuals from OEM portals and able to do Reverse Engineer with OEM tools
- Exposure to any of the programming language (Python, C#, SQL etc.) would be added advantage.
- Excellent problem identification and solving skills (exposure to CAR, 8D, etc)
- Certification On-Board Diagnostics (OBD-II) Certification SAE J2534 Programming & Diagnostics Certification Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) CertificationsCertifications related to DOIP
