About the role
NetApp is a data infrastructure company whose enterprise-grade storage services are natively embedded in Google Cloud, AWS, and Microsoft Azure, supporting customers from traditional workloads to enterprise AI. This Technical Support Engineer 2 role sits in post-sales support, covering NetApp storage and cloud solutions such as AFF, FAS, and Cloud Volumes ONTAP. The engineer will troubleshoot complex hardware, software, and cloud infrastructure issues, analyze logs, identify root causes, and work with cross-functional teams on next-generation data center technologies.
What you will do
- As a Technical Support Engineer 2, you will provide post-sales technical support for NetApp storage and cloud solutions, including AFF, FAS, and Cloud Volumes ONTAP.
- You will troubleshoot complex hardware, software, and cloud infrastructure issues, analyze logs, identify root causes, and deliver effective solutions to customers.
- This role requires strong problem-solving skills, customer focus, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to support next-generation data center technologies.

What the employer is looking for
- 3 to 5 years of experience in technical support, storage administration, or infrastructure support.
- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Experience in two or more of the following areas: NetApp storage solutions and Data ONTAP
- NAS/SAN storage technologies
- Linux/UNIX or Windows administration
- Data protection and backup technologies
- Virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, Citrix)
- Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Kubernetes
- Storage performance tuning and high-availability solutions
- Enterprise application interoperability and infrastructure support
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
- Relevant industry certifications in storage, cloud, or infrastructure technologies are preferred.
