About the role

Nokia is seeking an experienced ASIC Program Manager to lead complex ASIC/SoC development programs from concept through silicon production and product release. The role sits within semiconductor development and requires combining technical expertise with program management, stakeholder management, and leadership to drive cross-functional execution. The hire will own program planning, tapeout readiness, risk mitigation, and executive reporting across architecture, design, verification, physical design, DFT, foundry, and operations teams.

What you will do

  • Lead end-to-end ASIC/SoC development programs, driving execution from architecture definition through silicon validation, qualification, and production release.
  • Develop, maintain, and manage integrated program plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies, and critical paths across all engineering and operations functions.
  • Coordinate closely with architecture, digital design, analog design, verification, physical design, DFT, CAD, product engineering, packaging, foundry, and operations teams to ensure seamless program execution.
  • Drive program reviews, monitor progress against milestones, identify risks proactively, and implement mitigation plans to ensure successful tapeouts and product delivery.
  • Establish clear ownership, accountability, governance, and escalation processes while facilitating effective cross-functional decision making.
  • Ensure tapeout readiness by driving design reviews, checklist completion, issue resolution, and milestone sign-offs ahead of critical development gates.
  • Provide regular program updates, status reporting, and executive communications on schedule, resource, quality, and business risks.
