About the role
MediaTek is looking for experienced professionals to join its System-C modeling development and validation team. The role is pivotal in executing the technology strategy, methodology development and overseeing the development and verification of System-C/virtual prototyping platform models for Automotive, Compute and other SoCs. The engineer will lead virtual model execution end to end, build and validate models, and develop tests and testing infrastructure for new architectures and features.
What you will do
- Lead virtual models execution end to end working with internal/external stakeholders
- Work in a team to document, design, develop tolls to analyze and simulate, validate and verify models
- Develop tests, test plans and testing infrastructure for new architectures/features
Skills used in this role
What the employer is looking for
- Education: BE / B. Tech / MTech in Electronics, Electrical or Computer Science with 5+ Years of relevant experience
- Hand On Modeling, Integration, and Testing within a SystemC, Virtual Platform based modeling framework for multiple SW application domain Mandatory
- Strong hands-on expertise in developing virtual models in C/C++/System-C etc.
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Understanding of SoC architectures.
- Expertise in virtual prototyping tools. Example: Synopsys virtualizer or similar tools from other vendors.
- Ability to deal with ambiguity in an environment with evolving requirements
- Self-motivated, able to work and deliver with minimum supervision
Preferred qualifications
- Experience in the automotive domain, including hands-on experience with tools commonly used in automotive applications
- Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira is advantageous.
