About the role
The Solution Services team in Core Networks Technical Delivery drives successful outcomes of Live Network Interventions (LNI) for Nokia's Tier one customers, where quality execution and customer satisfaction are the main measures of success. The domain covers Mobile Core and Cloud IMS network elements, 3GPP standards, and core protocols such as Diameter, SIP and Sigtran. This Cloud IMS Subject Matter Expert will own the quality and accuracy of LNI artifacts, procedures and scripts, approve LNI plans, establish network impact KPIs, supervise LNI execution and contribute to LNI automation programs.
What you will do
- As a subject matter expert in the Delivery Assurance team, you will be responsible for analyzing and approving the services delivery artifacts that will be used to support Live Network Intervention.
- You will accomplish this by leveraging your extensive Mobile Core expertise, best practices, and lessons learned. This role will require you to look across product domains and measure the impact and risks of LNI activities at a solution level.
- Review and approve LNI plans to include data sources like CiQ, implementation procedures, scripts and other LNI artifacts prior to implementation on the customer network.
- Review and establish the Key Performance Indicators (KPI) that will be used to measure impacts to the network based on LNI work to be performed.
- Capture details of the review and as needed contribute findings to lessons learned and best practices.
- Contribute to Automation programs focused on LNI preparations and executions.
- Ensure high-quality project delivery by monitoring delivery KPIs, execution plans, and overall project performance.
Skills used in this role
What the employer is looking for
- BS Computer Science or Electrical Engineering with minimum 7+ years' experience using these skills in Telecommunications services delivery.
- Extensive experience in telecommunications, with a deep understanding of Mobile Core network elements and technologies, their evolution, and the latest industry trends.
- Understanding of the interfaces and interactions between Mobile Core solution elements including 3rd parties.
- Knowledge of 3GPP standards and technologies.
- Hands-on experience with IMS Core functions: A-SBC, I-SBC CFX-5000, CNCS, NTAS, SMSF, ENUM, MRF and LIMS Competences on TCP/IP & main Protocols: Diameter (Gx-Rx-Sy)/ HTTP2/ SIP / Sigtran / SOAP-XML / SNMP.
- Understanding customer technical requirements, Protocol Specs, Method of Procedure.
- Linux and Cloud Infra knowledge is must.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with a customer-centric approach and a proven track record of building strong, lasting relationships.
