About the role
Honeywell Technologies is focused on accelerating growth across APAC and India through software and software ARR growth and acquisition revenue synergies. The role works across business units and functions, connecting customer needs, market dynamics, technology roadmaps, and go-to-market execution. The Director will lead regional growth strategy, portfolio readiness, cross-sell, SaaS migration, and strategic partnerships for acquired and existing software offerings.
What you will do
- Acquisition growth strategy: set the APAC & India growth strategy that drives acquisitions contribution to Honeywell's growth, covering market opportunity, share of demand, priority segments, target accounts and routes to market, and translate it into clear execution plans with accountable owners.
- Offering fit and regional readiness: Assess the fit and readiness of acquired offerings for APAC & India markets, including customer needs, localization, pricing, channel and delivery or support capabilities, informed by a clear understanding of each offering’s NPI roadmap. Prioritize where each offering can win, and work with offering owners to close the gaps that limit growth and align roadmap priorities with regional demand.
- Cross-sell and cross-business growth: As the main lever for acquisition growth, drive cross-selling and pull-through between acquired businesses and Honeywell business units through integrated customer offerings, joint account pursuit plans and opportunities identified with strategic account leaders. Convert these into qualified pipelines, commercial wins and realized revenue.
- Revenue synergy delivery and barrier resolution: Serve as the APAC & India point person tracking and ensuring agreed revenue synergy targets are met. Track performance against targets, identify gaps early, and resolve the commercial, operational or offering barriers that prevent growth.
- Operating rhythm: Establish governance, metrics and reviews that move strategic initiatives from concept to measurable commercial outcomes.
- Growth of Revenue and Software ARR across the APAC & India software portfolio.
- Realization of acquisition revenue synergies against agreed base and aspirational targets, by acquisition and operating region.
- Quality, value and conversion of the strategic opportunity pipeline.
- Adoption and performance of new commercial models, partnerships and routes to market.
- Partner-sourced and partner-influenced pipeline, ARR and strategic plan execution.
- Delivery of the on-premise-to-SaaS migration roadmap, including customer conversion, retained revenue and ARR uplift.
- Coverage, quality and commercial use of APAC & India customer references and associated communications.
- Closure of priority portfolio-readiness gaps for target APAC & India markets.
- Market intelligence: Assess market size, customer economics, competitor positioning, regulatory developments and technology trends to identify attractive growth spaces.
- Portfolio readiness and market fit: Assess the software portfolio’s readiness and fit for APAC & India markets, including customer needs, localization, deployment model, cybersecurity, data residency, regulatory requirements, pricing, support and channel capabilities; maintain a strong understanding of the NPI roadmap to anticipate which gaps upcoming releases will close, and translate remaining gaps into prioritized actions and investment recommendations.
- Regional customer references: Build and maintain a catalogue of APAC & India customer references with quantified outcomes and reusable proof points. Work with Communications Team to build amplification plan in the media.
- Subscription and SaaS acceleration: Create and orchestrate a phased plan to migrate on-premise applications and customers to SaaS, addressing portfolio sequencing, commercial conversion, customer value, technical dependencies, channel enablement, retention risks and ARR impact.
- Installed Base Mining Go-to-Market: Partner with sales, marketing, product and customer success teams to define segmentation, routes to market, channel strategies, demand generation and account expansion plays.
- Decoupled software growth: Identify customer entry points that allow software to be sold and scaled independently of hardware or major capital projects, and develop repeatable acquisition and expansion plays around them.
- Identify & Scale Strategic Partnerships: Identify and prioritize the partners most critical to software growth in APAC & India, define joint value propositions and business plans, and execute agreed go-to-market, co-sell, integration and customer-development strategies with them.
