About the role

The Partnerships Development team is responsible for seeking and exploring new opportunities with Google's partners, and the Platforms and Devices team encompasses Google's computing software platforms, first-party devices, and services that combine Google AI, software, and hardware. This role drives growth of the Pixel business and ecosystem products across key offline channel partners in India, primarily Regional Distributors in South and East India. The manager partners cross-functionally with marketing, operations, product, finance, and legal teams to execute the go-to-market strategy and achieve business goals.

What you will do

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive distribution strategy to drive Pixel business growth. Manage and grow relationships with select retail and distribution partners, acting as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor.
  • Conduct business planning, forecasting for sell-in and sell-out, and hold regular performance reviews with partners to ensure targets are met. Act as a sales coach to the partner's teams, representing the best of Google's products and values to grow the business.
  • Develop points of view on channel selection and expansion to drive further Pixel growth across India.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to build and execute a cohesive growth plan, including negotiating commercial terms and identifying new partnership opportunities.

Preferred qualifications

  • Master's degree, MBA, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience in the mobile industry, with a strong background in working with mobile devices, operators, or distributors.
  • Experience with partner development, relationship management, and negotiating commercial agreements.
  • Proven track record of success in managing sales channels, launching products, and achieving growth targets.
  • Strong understanding of the full sales process, from strategic planning to on-the-ground execution.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal , investigative, and problem-solving skills with strong business judgment.
