About the role
AI Garage is the innovation engine within Google's POp's Engineering, solving complex HR technology challenges by deploying advanced Agentic AI and ML into critical user experiences through multi-disciplinary squads in India. Corp Eng builds world-leading business solutions and end-to-end tools for organizations across Google. This role serves as engineering technical lead for the AI Garage team, driving engineering excellence and designing scalable Agentic AI/ML systems in the HR domain.
What you will do
- Engineering technical lead for the AI Garage team which responsible for developing AI/ML systems and Agentic solutions in HR domain.
- Drive engineering excellence for the AI Garage team.
- Provide technical leadership in regards to immediate and complex technical problems to leads of associated teams.
- Influence, design, and build scalable Agentic systems in HR domain. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in Agentic and AI/ML engineering.
- Collaborate with AI Garage Leads (e.g., Eng Managers, Product Managers and AI strategists) and stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical solutions.
Skills used in this role
Preferred qualifications
- Experience collaborating in a globally distributed product and engineering team.
- Experience implementing and customizing structural execution patterns like ReAct (Reason + Act), Tree of Thoughts (ToT), and Plan-and-Solve loops, giving models the cognitive scaffolding to break down vague goals into deterministic DAGs (Directed Acyclic Graphs).
- Excellent communication skills across engineering, product and business domains.
