About the role
Honeywell Connected Enterprise (HCE) is the software division of Honeywell with a strategic focus on digitization, sustainability, and OT Cybersecurity SaaS offerings, built on the Honeywell Forge platform. As a Sr Enterprise Architect, this role designs and evolves Honeywell's technology landscape, aligning enterprise architecture with strategic business goals, industry best practices, and scalability, security, and compliance standards. It also leads a team of IT architects and senior planners, drives architecture governance, and shapes the planning and implementation of technology solutions.
What you will do
- Oversee and lead a team of IT architects and senior planners, providing mentorship and guidance in developing and maintaining technology architecture
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and execute high-level IT architecture strategies aligned with business objectives
- Shape planning and implementation of technology solutions meeting scalability, security, and compliance standards
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the IT architecture planning department
- Drive budget management for the IT architecture planning department
- Advocate for and enforce architecture governance to maintain consistency and compliance across projects
- Define and prioritize projects and resources to meet business objectives
Skills used in this role

- Extensive knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks and methodologies.

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
Preferred qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant industry certifications such as TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or similar.
- Demonstrated success in driving digital transformation initiatives.
- Strong project management and leadership skills.
- A passion for staying current with emerging industry trends and best practices.
