About the role
Honeywell's Products finance organization supports the company's global product businesses, partnering with SBG CFOs and business finance leaders on financial reporting, forecasting, and commercial analytics. The role sits within FP&A and covers AOP and formal forecasts, pricing and channel partner reporting, working capital and cash collection analysis, and digitization of the products business model reporting. It also acts as finance lead for the products tech stack and drives report automation and data set clean-up across CFO and systems analytics teams.
What you will do
- Coordinate with Products functions on development and required updates on current GDMs, partner with business finance leaders on GDM adoption, tracking and control
- Channel Partner, eCommerce and Pricing reporting related to Products business model; coordinate with other accelerator leaders reporting MOS, data input and reporting.
- Drive enhancement on overall Products business model commercial analytics; focus on Pipeline sufficiency, win rate% and orders conversion; partner with data analytics and commercial functions to develop standard Product reports.
- AOP and Formal Forecasts: support preparation and analysis; standardize templates, timeline, process and communicate with stakeholders. Analyze, assess and prepare submissions with GBE FP&A and CFOs
- Drive Digitization of Products Business Model: data sets clean up with CFOs and Systems Analytics team on reporting: Revenue, margin, pricing, FCF, WC, Cash collection (including PDs).
- Financial Analysis / RCCA – Translate Financial Analysis into systemic intervention: Cash Flow Curves, Billing, AR/PD, Inventory, Revenue and Pricing
- Finance GDM Requirements, Documentation and OCM support. Finance Lead for Products Tech Stack: SFDC/CPQ/PROs/E2Open/eCommerce/ERP/EDW
- Lead financial reporting MOS: Products Day Prep; Any monthly reporting MOS, Working Capital MOS
- Partner with VPGPMO and the Sr Executive sponsor on several business model improvement initiatives in terms of analysis and value add input and insights.
Skills used in this role
What the employer is looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or Business Administration
- 5-10 years of commercial finance and FP&A business experience (i.e. business analysis, financial planning & analysis)
- Experience developing forecast and operating plans.
- Exceptional analytical skills (linking results to drivers)
Preferred qualifications
- POC accounting experience is highly preferrable
- CPA or CMA
- Demonstrated leadership and influencing skills
- Self-motivated, results-oriented and assertive individual
- Ability to make consistent and timely decisions
- Highly proficient in information technology financial applications particularly SAP
- Direct communication with clarity at all level
