About the role
The Architect role sits in Tata Elxsi's CTO Office, driving architecture and technical solutioning for software platforms, backend systems, and cloud-native engineering initiatives. The work spans Python-based backend and API-led platforms, system design, microservices, databases, AI/ML and GenAI-enabled applications, and DevSecOps practices. The role leads technical discussions, reviews architecture and design decisions, and provides guidance to Python and backend engineering teams while engaging with customers and internal technical forums.
What you will do
- Architect – CTO Office, Tata Elxsi: Drives architecture and technical solutioning for software platforms, backend systems, and cloud-native engineering initiatives.
- Leads technical discussions across Python, system design, API development, AI/ML-enabled platforms, and DevSecOps practices.
- Reviews architecture, validates design decisions, evaluates technical depth, and provides guidance to engineering teams.
- Demonstrates strong communication, structured thinking, solutioning ability, and leadership potential in customer and internal technical forums.

- DevSecOps, CI/CD, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, Linux, and release engineering awareness.
- Cloud-native development practices and event-driven / API-driven architectures.
- Technical leadership, mentoring, solution governance, and architecture review ownership.
- Stakeholder-facing solutioning, structured communication, and customer presentation readiness.
- Ability to guide teams on design-level decisions, implementation approach, and quality outcomes.
- Deep Python expertise with strong backend and API architecture orientation.
- Broad exposure across AI/ML, GenAI, cloud technologies, DevSecOps, databases, and application architecture.
- Strong fit for Python Technical Lead, Solution Architect, Backend Architect, or AI/ML-enabled platform leadership roles.
Preferred qualifications
- Good-to-have exposure to ETSI MANO frameworks and open-source contribution in NFV orchestration or telecom cloud ecosystems.
