About the role
JPMorgan Chase's Corporate Technology organization bridges product owners, business, operations, and software developers to deliver technology solutions. The team works on business and data flow requirements, architecture design, governance, and data-driven insights. The Solution Analyst III will elicit and document requirements, translate them into technically feasible solutions, and conduct data analysis to support business decisions.
What you will do
- Elicit and document comprehensive business and data flow requirements by engaging with product owners, business stakeholders, and technical teams to ensure alignment and feasibility
- Uses enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to accelerate requirements synthesis, solution optioning, and architecture documentation, validating outputs and handling data according to sensitivity and security requirements.
- Translate complex business requirements into well-structured technical solutions, leveraging data analytics and technical knowledge to optimize system performance and scalability and applying best practices to address evolving business needs
- Conduct data analysis and interpretation to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities, providing actionable insights that support decision-making and key business initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain architecture designs, policies, standards, and governance processes that align technology with business strategy.
- Continuously enhance technical knowledge and stay current with industry trends, ensuring the application of best practices and innovative solutions to address evolving business needs.
- Contribute to data-driven decision-making by extracting insights from large, diverse data sets and applying data analytics techniques
- Assist in managing project dependencies and change control by demonstrating adaptability and leading through change in a fast-paced environment
- Promote continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for process enhancements and applying knowledge of principles and practices within the Solutions Analysis field
- Guide the work of others, ensuring timely completion and adherence to established principles and practices
Skills used in this role
What the employer is looking for
- 6+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in solutions analysis, technical program delivery, or a related field.
- Demonstrated proficiency in data analytics, including experience with data extraction, modeling, and interpretation to support strategic decision-making.
- Demonstrated experience using enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to support solutions analysis workflows with strong validation habits and awareness of data sensitivity.
- Ability to review and validate AI-assisted analyses and recommendations before use, escalating when uncertain and following data handling expectations.
- Demonstrated proficiency in data fluency and analytics, including experience with data extraction, modeling, interpretation, and generating insights from large, diverse data sets to support strategic decision-making
- Strong technical writing skills, with a proven track record of translating complex information into clear and concise documentation for diverse stakeholder audiences
- Advanced data visualization capabilities, with hands-on experience creating and maintaining dashboards and reporting using approved tools
