About the role
Honeywell's team designs, develops, builds, and deploys web applications that support business processes for the Refining, Pharma, Oil and Gas, and Chemical industries. The work centers on frontend development with a user-centric design mindset, building scalable and accessible interfaces on open-source platforms. This Software Engineer II role covers the full software development life cycle — requirements analysis, solution design, coding, testing, and post-implementation validation — using React, SQL Server, and related web technologies.
What you will do
- Responsible for analyzing the business requirements
- Designing the solution and coding and/or configuring as per the design or solution approach and testing
- Implementation and post implementation validation for new development and enhancement efforts
- Creating the documentation required as a part of application development/enhancement effort as per the process

- 5+ years of experience in Software Development
- Minimum 4 years of Experience in React JS, / Angular / Vue, Java Spring Boot, Dotnet Core, REST API, HTML, jQuery, CSS
- Familiarity with versioning tools such as Bit Bucket
- Experience on SQL Server and SSIS
- Data connectivity using Entity Framework
- Client-side Scripting using Java Script
- Deep knowledge about Web application Security- Authentication and Authorization, Integrated Security
- IIS hosting and configuration, Application pool and its configuration and troubleshooting.
- Extensive experience in the areas of Service-oriented architecture SOA Patterns
- Hands on experience to define overall System Architecture and Design UI components aligned with open-source architecture and modular systems like WKS Platform
- Strong communication skills and Oil and Gas domain experience is a plus
