About the role
The Software Engineer I role designs, develops, tests, and maintains software applications and services, working independently on moderately complex tasks and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The position spans technical design, implementation, and operational excellence using technologies such as C#, .NET Core, Python, React.js, and TypeScript for scalable web applications, APIs, and microservices. The engineer also supports production systems, follows Agile practices, and stays current with emerging development frameworks.
What you will do
- Design, develop, test, and deploy software solutions.
- Participate in requirements analysis and technical design discussions.
- Write clean, scalable, maintainable, and secure code.
- Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and defect resolution.
- Create and execute unit, integration, and automation tests.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, QA, and other engineering teams.
- Support production systems and investigate operational issues.
- Follow Agile development practices and engineering standards.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and development frameworks.

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Typically, 2-3+ years of software development experience.
- Strong programming skills in one or more technologies including C#, .NET Core, Python, React.js, and TypeScript.
- Experience designing and developing scalable web applications, APIs, and microservices.
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
- Experience with source control systems (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms, containerization, and modern software development practices.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
