About the role
The Polaris Platform Bangalore team (the Legion team) at Rubrik provides the core platforms and systems that enable product engineers to build and operate scalable, reliable applications in the cloud as well as the on-prem version of the control plane. The team works on product led trials, license management and enforcement, cloud deployment efficiency, and the on-prem RSC (RSC-P) control plane. This role builds platforms, systems and infrastructure using strong backgrounds in distributed systems and large scale storage systems.
What you will do
- Enabling product assisted trials to decrease sales cycles
- Bringing in Licensing visibility and enforcement for customers
- Scaling our single node on-prem control plane (RSC-P) to multi node
- Bringing in deployment efficiency to improve developer productivity
- Build our platforms, systems and infrastructure using your strong background in distributed systems and large scale storage systems.
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve the software.
- Manage individual projects priorities, deadlines and deliverables with your technical expertise.

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent in computer science or related field
- 6 months - 1 year of total work experience
- Proficiency in one or more general purpose programming languages like Java, C/C++, Scala, Python, C#. Having prior experience with C++ would be a plus.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform/AWS/Azure or other public cloud technologies is a plus
- Experience working with two or more from the following: Unix/Linux environments, Windows environments, distributed systems, networking, developing large software systems, file systems, storage systems, hypervisors, databases and/or security software development.
- Knowledge of Docker, Containers, Kubernetes, microservice architectures is a plus.
