The work centers on cloud-native software, infrastructure-as-code, and automation across AWS environments. This Software Engineer III will build reusable Terraform templates and modules, develop Golang-based APIs and microservices, and create CI/CD automation and event-driven workflows for infrastructure provisioning.

What you will do

  • Executes software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or breakdown technical problems; Implements scalable cloud native software solutions using modern technology stacks to deliver highly available, performant, and resilient products
  • Designs and implements infrastructure-as-code solutions that ensure consistency, security, and compliance across multiple AWS accounts and environments; develops reusable Terraform templates and modules that abstract AWS complexity, allowing teams to provision infrastructure across all AWS components without requiring deep service-specific expertise
  • Troubleshoots complex infrastructure deployment issues and optimize existing Terraform configurations for performance and reliability, and creates automation workflows that validate and deploy Terraform templates through CI/CD pipelines
  • Collaborates with application teams to understand their infrastructure needs and translate them into standardized Terraform modules; builds and maintains Golang-based APIs and microservices that power the platform's automation capabilities
  • Designs and implements RESTful APIs that enable programmatic infrastructure requests; develops event-driven systems that orchestrate infrastructure provisioning and respond to platform events in real-time; Creates asynchronous workflows that handle complex infrastructure operations across distributed systems
  • Leverages enterprise-authorized AI coding assist tools within the work environment to improve code quality, delivery speed, and productivity across complex deliverables (e.g., code generation/refactoring, unit test creation, documentation), while validating outputs through peer review, automated testing, and secure coding standards; contributes learnings and reusable patterns to improve broader team effectiveness.
  • Applies knowledge of tools within the Software Development Life Cycle toolchain, including enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development and automation capabilities, to improve the value realized by automation.
