About the role
JPMorgan Chase is hiring a Software Engineer III-Automation in Bengaluru to work on functional and automation testing. The role involves test preparation, design, execution, and reporting, along with collaborating with manual testers, developers, and subject-matter experts. It requires agile experience, TDD, and domain-oriented systems knowledge, with trade domain experience listed as a plus.
What you will do
- 10+ years of relevant industry experience
- Experience in agile methodology
- Functional testing knowledge, Work with manual testers, developers and SME's to understand the business domain, and the system functionality
- Automation/functional Test preparation, test design, execution and reporting
- Track and publish the status or development, maintenance and execution of automation test suits
- Communication and interaction with customers to solve their problems
- Bug verification and tracking and fixing
- Bachelors or Master’s degree, further education or experience in engineering, computer science or other technical related field.
- Experience of using a Test-Driven Development approach and associated testing frameworks.
- Minimum 3-7 years of experience on any domain-oriented systems. Trade domain is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills
