About the role
Teradata Autonomous Knowledge Platform unifies data, knowledge, and business context to activate enterprise intelligence, enabling organizations to connect and scale. The Software Engineer role develops, tests, and supports software, data, cloud, and AI solutions for global clients, working with cross-functional teams including data engineers, cloud architects, and AI specialists. The position also supports project and managed services engagements and may involve shift-based operations and 24x7 support models.

- Develop, test, and support software, data, cloud, and AI solutions.
- Work on real-world projects with global clients and teams.
- Analyze requirements and help build scalable technology solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver quality outcomes.
- Learn emerging technologies through training and hands-on experience.
- Work in a global delivery environment and, depending on business requirements, support project and managed services engagements, including shift-based operations and 24x7 support models.

What the employer is looking for
- B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Science, or related streams.
- Strong academic record with no active backlogs.
- Good understanding of programming fundamentals, data structures, databases, and problem-solving concepts.
- Familiarity with at least one programming language such as Python, Java, C++, or JavaScript.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and database concepts.
- Exposure to cloud, data analytics, AI/ML, or Generative AI through coursework, projects, certifications, internships, or self-learning is an advantage.
- Interest in emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Data Engineering, Cloud Computing, and Analytics.
- Strong analytical thinking and a structured approach to problem solving.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Eagerness to learn, adapt, and work in a fast-paced team environment.
