About the role
The Supply Chain Trade and Logistics IT team at Cisco is responsible for enhancing, maintaining, and evolving the Oracle Trade Management system so it stays aligned with changing global trade regulations, sanctions, tariffs, and trade restrictions. The team works closely with trade compliance business and IT groups to configure new regulatory requirements and integrate GTM with ERP and other boundary systems. This Software Engineer role partners with compliance stakeholders to translate regulatory changes into system solutions, troubleshoot production issues, and lead implementation of agentic AI frameworks and in-app AI agents.
What you will do
- Possesses strong communication and collaboration skills, essential for cross-functional team success.
- Participate in testing, validation, development, and ongoing support of trade compliance system enhancements.
- Troubleshoot system issues and provide timely solution to minimize business and compliance risk.
- Continuously improve the Trade Management platform to increase automation, efficiency, and responsiveness to regulatory changes.
- Design, develop, and optimize in-app and role-based AI Agents with secure, scalable semantic layers, multi-agent protocols, and agent training features.
- Lead implementation of agentic frameworks (langraph, langchain, LLMs) to enable robust Ask/Respond capabilities using enterprise data sources
- An expert in the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile engineering practices, staying current with industry trends.
- A skilled troubleshooter who performs root cause analysis and implements fixes for complex production issues.

What the employer is looking for
- Bachelor’s degree with 5+ OR Master’s with 3+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle Global Trade Management system
- Proficient in GTM, GTM Agents, saved Queries/conditions, Screen sets, SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Workflow, and web service integrations.
- Design and implement technical solution in Oracle Global Trade management (GTM)
- Experience integrating GTM with ERP and other boundary systems
- Work with xml, JSON, REST/SOAP API, web services, and integration frameworks
- Strong trade/functional knowledge of import/export compliance, restricted- party screening, Compliance Screening, product/HTS classification, country of origin, trade agreement, license management, Custom and trade transactions etc.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub, GitLab CI, DevOps
- Practical experience using GenAI tools (Copilot, Cursor etc.) to accelerate development work
- Hands on experience building MCP tool, Servers, Agents.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Preferred qualifications
- Working experience on Prompt engineering, LLMs, RAG / AI-assisted automation
- Relevant certifications in Oracle, Cloud technologies, and AI/ML.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Oracle Cloud, AWS, and Azure is plus
- Experience with REACT, RPA technologies, Mongo, Snowflake
- Proficiency in Generative AI (Gen AI Green Belt), MCP tools and Data Science & Security Green Belts
