About the role
Cisco's Supply Chain Fast Fulfillment IT team builds AI-native systems for large-scale supply chain, including AI agents, RAG-based knowledge systems, and autonomous workflows. The role focuses on developing agentic frameworks, RAG applications, and AI-driven test automation across complex enterprise ecosystems. The engineer will participate across the full lifecycle, from conceptualization and RAG architecture to production-grade deployment and automation.
What you will do
- Drive enablement of MCP Tools and AI Agents, focusing on the development and management of applications using Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG)
- Develop advanced AI Agents with comprehensive security and semantic protocols.
- Deliver secure, scalable, high performing, AI Native solutions across complex enterprise ecosystems
- Implement sophisticated agentic frameworks (LangGraph, LangChain) to enable robust business capabilities
- Develop scalable, AI driven Test Automation frameworks using tools like Playwright, Selenium, Cypress or UiPath
- Solve complex production issues for root cause analysis and implement fixes
- Exhibit excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
Skills used in this role
What the employer is looking for
- Education: A bachelor's or master’s degree with 1 to 3 years of related experience.
- Programming: Skilled in Java, Python or other mainstream programming languages, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and framework for building scalable and Distributed systems.
- Architecture: Microservices, RESTful services, API management, Apache Kafka.
- Databases: Experience with relational, in-memory and NoSQL databases (Oracle, MongoDB, Snowflake)
- AI/ML: Agentic AI, RAG, Vector Databases, Prompt Engineering, LLM integration, IDE/plugins (Cursor, GitHub Copilot or Claude Code)
- Good understanding of Agile and DevOps practices and toolsets
- Ability to manage ambiguity, coupled with strong analytical thinking and an innovative approach.
Preferred qualifications
- Familiarity with cloud services such as Oracle Cloud, GCP, AWS or Azure.
- Experience in Test Automation using tools like Playwright, Selenium, Cypress or UiPath.
- Certification in Java, DB, Cloud, AWS and AI/ML
- Supply Chain domain experience is a plus.
