About the role
The FBA Defects Prevention team within Fulfillment By Amazon identifies and prevents defects in the FBA inbound supply chain, working across sellers, fulfillment technology, robotics and carriers to detect, root cause, gather evidence and prevent issues. The inbound supply chain is highly scaled and complex, and the space is being explored with new technologies such as Gen AI to analyze patterns, assess root causes and evaluate image data. This software development engineer role works on complex problem areas, rooting out defects and crafting solutions that influence seller behavior and reduce Amazon's cost to serve.

Skills used in this role
What the employer is looking for
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
