About the role
The team builds the tools and experiences that help third-party business partners discover, understand, and participate in Amazon's marketplace programs, owning the full journey from program discovery and eligibility assessment through enrollment and performance measurement. Its work spans web-based user interfaces, APIs, and emerging AI-powered experiences, with a focus on scalable, reliable platform services. This role is a Software Development Engineer II who will design, architect, and deliver large-scale, multi-tiered, distributed software applications and customer-facing experiences.

- Design and develop solutions for complex, ambiguous problems across the full software development lifecycle
- Drive best practices and engineering excellence within the team
- Collaborate with team members to architect and design new and existing systems
- Work in an agile environment to deliver high-quality software on schedule
- Build scalable platform services and customer-facing experiences that support business programs at scale
- Contribute to the development of AI-powered and automation-driven experiences for end users
Skills used in this role
What the employer is looking for
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
