About the role
Google Customer Solutions (GCS) vendor sales management oversees vendor teams that sell and support Google Ads for small and medium businesses, within the Global Business Organization (GBO) that powers Google's commercial arms of Ads sellers, business development and customer services. As a Vendor Performance Manager, the role owns analysis of vendor performance and presents key insights to Google sales leadership, supports initiatives to improve GCS vendor operations, and shares best practices across global markets and lines of business. The role is aligned to the AUNZ market, requires non-standard working hours, and focuses on commercial performance of a multi-million-dollar portfolio, pipeline and forecast accuracy, and coaching vendor sellers on consultative selling of Google Ads solutions.
What you will do
- Deliver against ambitious quarterly business and product adoption goals. Own the end-to-end commercial performance of a multi-million-dollar portfolio by diagnosing growth drivers, mitigating churn risks, and designing scalable sales strategies.
- Drive sales pipeline hygiene and forecast accuracy. Analyze conversion funnels across customer lifecycle stages (acquisition, onboarding, and high-growth accelerators) to identify bottlenecks, optimize pitch cadence, and maximize business per lead.
- Elevate vendor sales leadership and frontline sellers from transactional pitching to high-impact consultative selling. Coach on advanced sales techniques, objection handling, pitch structure, and the Google Ads product suite (e.g., Performance Max, YouTube, Smart Bidding) to maximize customer ROI.
- Lead high-stakes weekly/monthly business reviews with executive vendor sales executives. Coach partners to consistently hit quota.
- Collaborate closely with internal Google sales strategy, product specialists, and GCS counterparts to ensure seamless customer outreach and a cohesive One Google customer journey.
