The DEI function is responsible for building a workplace where every individual can belong, contribute, and grow. This Senior Manager role owns and leads the DEI charter end to end, defining strategy, shaping the multi-year roadmap, and driving programs, policies, data, and governance with senior stakeholder partnership.

What you will do

  • Set goals, KPIs, and a DEI scorecard, and report progress regularly to the People leadership and the Group CHRO.

  • Build a data-led approach: workforce representation analytics across hiring, promotion, attrition, pay, and engagement.
  • Run inclusion surveys, listening sessions, and focus groups, and translate insights into targeted action plans.
  • Benchmark against industry and market best practices to keep our approach contemporary and credible.
  • Design and execute meaningful, outcome-oriented initiatives across gender, PwD, LGBTQ+, generational, and other dimensions of diversity, moving beyond one-off events to sustained programs.

  • Embed inclusion into the employee lifecycle: hiring, onboarding, performance, talent reviews, succession, and promotions.

  • Partner with Talent Acquisition on inclusive hiring practices, diverse slates, and employer branding.
  • Ensure policies are communicated well, understood, and lived on the ground.
  • Build and nurture Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) and communities, with clear charters, leaders, budgets, and outcomes.
  • Create an inclusive culture through internal campaigns, forums, learning sessions, and storytelling.
  • Represent Angel One externally through industry forums, partnerships, NGOs, and benchmarking and recognition platforms.
  • Partner with CXOs, business heads, and HRBPs to make DEI a business priority, not just an HR initiative.
  • Equip leaders and managers with the tools, nudges, and training to drive inclusion within their teams.
  • Manage external vendors, consultants, and partners, and own the DEI budget.
