About the role
Qualcomm's ASIC Engineering group develops high-performance, low-power IP and SoC products, with engineers defining, modeling, designing, verifying, validating, and documenting blocks across digital and analog domains. This Silicon Validation Engineer role focuses on high-speed links such as DDR PHY and SerDes, including lab testing, debug, and post-silicon validation using JTAG/LTB and C/Python. The position collaborates with cross-functional teams including design, boards, and ATE.
What you will do
- Candidate should have good understanding of analog and mixed signal circuits with experience in high-speed links such as DDR PHY and/or Serdes
- Experience with high-speed digital circuits, memories and lab. testing is desirable
- Experience with Tx/Rx equalization techniques and circuits like de-emphasis, CTLE, DFE is desirable
- Knowledge of DDR protocols is desirable
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment and interact well with cross-functional teams such as design, boards, ATE etc.
- Experience in lab. measuring instruments such as Oscilloscope, BERT etc.
- Experience with JTAG/LTB debugger, Post-silicon validation and basics of C/Python programming
