About the role
The Global Delivery Excellence Team supports Akamai's 2,500+ person Global Services and Support organization, which spans Professional Services, Customer Support, and Account Management, using complex data and action-driven tools and models to influence operational efficiency, quality, and compliance. The Services Analyst owns end-to-end implementation of simple to highly complex reporting and dashboard solutions, collaborating with multiple stakeholders to identify business risks through data analysis and make recommendations. The role focuses on financial forecasting, business modeling, monthly variance reporting, cost and budget management, and compensation planning using Anaplan, Tableau, and Microsoft Office tools.
What you will do
- Developing financial forecasts and business models; managing updates in Anaplan, Tableau, and Microsoft Office tools.
- Assisting in monthly reporting through variance analysis and trends; providing accurate insights on financial performance.
- Managing costs, budgets, and leading compensation planning activities.
- Defining the needs of the business through collaborative requirements gathering sessions
- Designing user friendly customized reporting and dashboards by thoroughly understanding the use cases adopted by the business
- Analyzing data for patterns, trends, or risks and identifying mitigation options and recommendations to share with stakeholders
Skills used in this role
What the employer is looking for
- Have 2+ years' relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree.
- Have development experience on business intelligence reporting platforms such as Tableau, Anaplan etc.
- Have experience demonstrating analytical skills with ability to provide data backend analysis
- Have exposure to confidential data handling
- Have great initiative for results, ability to handle ambiguity and cross team dynamics
- Have good communication (verbal and written), presentation, and interpersonal skills
