About the role

Siemens IT enables secure, reliable and scalable digital services for Siemens businesses and factories worldwide, and within IT IPS develops and operates services that support the transformation of industrial environments toward modern, secure and standardized IT/OT operations. The role sits with the IT/OT Security Platform services, including the OT Zero Trust Platform (SINEC Secure Connect) and OT Patch Management, which support secure Zero Trust based connectivity between IT and OT environments. The Service Manager will drive and evolve end-to-end service delivery, stakeholder alignment and operational excellence for these services.

What you will do

  • You manage the end-to-end service delivery for SINEC Secure Connect and ensure stable, reliable and customer oriented service operations.
  • You define, manage creation, monitor and continuously improve service processes, service quality, SLAs, KPIs and reporting structures.
  • You coordinate, govern and improve incident, problem, change and service request management processes together with internal operations teams, service providers and technical experts.
  • You coordinate major incident management and support any service improvements.
  • You coordinate definition and maintaining of the Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity documentation.
  • You manage and coordinate maintenance of any other service-related documentation.
  • You act as the central interface between factories, business stakeholders, IT teams, cybersecurity experts, vendors and service owners.
  • You align service requirements with business needs and ensure that customer feedback, operational lessons learned and improvement measures are reflected in the service roadmap.
  • You support the onboarding of new factories and service consumers and help ensure a smooth transition into regular service operations.
  • You coordinate and manage any identified service and solution-related vulnerabilities and risks.
  • You manage vendor and provider interfaces, service escalations and operational dependencies to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • You actively shape the journey to AI-native OT security services.
  • You help translate complex IT, OT and Zero Trust topics into practical, factory-friendly communication and support the adoption of both services across Siemens.

What the employer is looking for

  • You have a university degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Informatics or a comparable qualification.
  • You have strong knowledge of Service Management and ITIL, including service delivery, SLA management, incident, problem and change management as well as continuous service improvement (approximately 3–5 years of experience in IT service management, service delivery management, or a similar role).
  • You bring experience in stakeholder and vendor management and are able to coordinate effectively between business stakeholders, IT teams, factories, service providers and vendors.
  • You are experienced with driving process improvements and increasing service management maturity.
  • You have strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • You have a solid understanding of endpoint management and endpoint security, including device lifecycle management, patching, compliance, hardening and Unified Endpoint Management platforms.
  • You understand the intersection of OT and IT and are able to translate complex Zero Trust and connectivity concepts into clear, business oriented and factory-friendly language.
  • You have a good understanding of network infrastructure topics and can communicate with both technical experts and non-technical stakeholders.
  • You work in a structured, reliable and service-oriented way and are comfortable managing multiple stakeholders in an international environment.
  • You provide your support during Central European Time Zone (CET).
  • Fluent English skills are required; German language skills are beneficial.
