About the role
Chargebee provides billing and monetization solutions that help businesses with recurring revenue models streamline revenue and finance operations and capture actionable insights. The Growth Suite team builds the monetization and experimentation layer that powers how businesses acquire, expand, and retain customers. This is a full-stack engineering role with a strong emphasis on Java/Spring backend and React/Vue/Angular frontend development, working on customer experiences across acquisition, expansion, and retention flows, including hosted experiences, pricing strategies, offers, and experiments.
What you will do
- Build and scale full-stack features around pricing pages, offer management, and experimentation workflows
- Translate product requirements into clean, high-quality code across backend and frontend
- Own modules end-to-end — from implementation to production support
- Collaborate with designers and PMs to deliver user-centric monetization experiences
- Optimize performance, scalability, and security for high-traffic pricing and checkout flows
- Contribute to team best practices, code reviews, and continuous improvement
Skills used in this role

- 4+ years of hands-on software development experience
- Strong backend skills with Java/Spring , and experience building scalable APIs
- Proficiency in React or Vue , with an eye for building dynamic, interactive UIs
- Strong debugging skills and attention to detail across the stack
- A product mindset — you care about the why , not just the how
Preferred qualifications
- Bonus points for experience with pricing pages, checkout flows, billing, or experimentation platforms.
- Daily hands-on use of AI coding tools, with a clear sense of when they help and when they don't
- A clear line between AI-generated code and production-ready code, you review, test, and own everything you ship
- Ability to write clear, specific prompts that get consistent, high-quality output from LLMs
- A habit of breaking work into small, reviewable chunks instead of accepting large AI-generated changes wholesale
