About the role
The role sits within Bosch's MASAR backend team, which builds backend services and code generation components for the MASAR ecosystem (including Bodas Studio and MASAR-Config). The work is Python-based tool and backend development, covering automated code generation, test automation, and GenAI-related tooling with Angular exposure. The developer will architect scalable services, apply SOLID design principles, write PyTest-based unit and integration tests, and work within GIT and Jenkins CI/CD pipelines as part of an Agile Scrum team.
What you will do
- Backend & Tool Development: Architect, develop, and maintain clean, highly reusable, and scalable backend services and code generation components using Python.
- Team Integration: Actively collaborate as an integrated member of the MASAR backend team, aligning technical implementations with overall system patterns.
- Design & Best Practices: Follow object-oriented design principles (SOLID) and standard design patterns to deliver maintainable and robust systems.
- Testing & Quality Assurance: Implement rigorous unit and integration testing frameworks using PyTest to ensure reliability and maintain high test-coverage standards.
- CI/CD & Version Control: Efficiently utilize GIT for version control, branching, and code reviews, and integrate automation workflows via Jenkins and CI/CD pipelines.
- Agile Participation: Participate actively in all Agile Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.

- Advanced Python Proficiency: Exceptional experience with modern Python development, its libraries, and building structured CLI/backend services.
- OOPs & Design Patterns: Strong mastery of Object-Oriented Programming concepts, Design Patterns, and design principles (such as SOLID).
- Testing Frameworks: Expert-level knowledge of writing unit tests and utilizing test tools like PyTest for test automation.
- Version Control & CI/CD: Hands-on experience with GIT workflows (branching, merging, pull requests) and build automation tools like Jenkins.
- Architectural Code Generation: Proven experience working with or building automated code generation templates, parsers, or backend compilers.
- B. E/ B. Tech E&C, EEE with 8+ yrs. experience in Python based tools development & GenAI.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers both in English.
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
- Detail-oriented Python/Angular developer with excellent experience in developing python & Angular based applications / tools towards delivering high quality products.
- Guide the team as a mentor to develop industry standard software following clean code principles.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and detail-oriented, with the ability to work independently and as part of an integrated, agile team to take assignments to completion.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience working in Agile-based projects.
- Good knowledge & experience of Python & Angular development.
- Hands-on experience with GenAI based Test Automation.
- Basic knowledge of (not mandatory) MASAR ecosystem (Bodas Studio, MASAR-Config, etc.).
- Basic knowledge on requirement engineering and software documentation.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Knowledge & experience of Python & Angular development
- Basic knowledge of (not mandatory) PEP process.
- Basic understanding of TypeScript or VS Code Extension APIs to easily communicate with frontend developers.
