About the role
Atlassian builds team collaboration software products used by teams worldwide. This role leads a team responsible for cross-cloud platform and data tooling, owning the roadmap and execution for next-generation data platforms. The manager hires, coaches, and grows engineers while partnering with product management, product, and infrastructure teams on strategic delivery.
What you will do
- Own the roadmap and execution for cross-cloud platform and data tooling, balancing new capability against platform evolution.
- Lead, coach, and grow a team of engineers — hiring, performance, career development, and building a strong on-call and incident culture around a system where correctness is non-negotiable
- Partner with product management and customer-facing teams
- Drive technical direction for next-generation data platforms
- Work with partner product and infrastructure teams across the company, collaborating on effective strategic delivery
