The position analyzes blueprints, programs Fanuc-controlled CNC machines, optimizes line balancing, and coordinates maintenance to maintain facility availability.
What you will do
- Blueprint Analysis & Process Planning: Study engineering drawings, specs, and tolerances to determine operational sequences, parameters (speed, feed, cut depth/angle), and fixture setups for engine components.
- CNC Programming & Tooling Setup: Develop, edit, and optimize CNC programs using Fanuc controllers; select, align, and secure workholding fixtures, cutting tools, and accessories.
- Special Process & Line Management: Oversee specialized machining operations, including precision grinding, industrial component washing, and high-pressure leak testing equipment.
- Line Balancing & Bottleneck Optimization: Analyze cycle time, takt time, and throughput to identify critical bottleneck stations and optimize work allocation across the shop floor.
- Facility Readiness & Maintenance: Support predictive/preventive maintenance routines, ensure continuous machine availability, and resolve field failures and production line issues promptly.
- Productivity & Continuous Improvement: Drive cost-reduction initiatives, improve line productivity, and apply structured problem-solving methodologies to resolve quality and operational non-conformances.
