About the role
Mahindra Group is hiring a Senior Engineer in Chennai for automatic transmission, shift-by-wire/cable, and e-drive systems. The role covers design, CAD/drawing release, thermal system work, validation planning, DFMEA, and concern resolution for transmission aggregates. It involves MATLAB/Simulink performance verification and cross-functional work with plant teams on APQP and MPDS gateways.
What you will do
- Should know the GD&T and 2D drafting for drawing review and release in Team center
- Should know the basic Engg design, Thermal system of auto/hybrid/ev and able to work on gear shift design
- Should be able to understand and work with Matlab/simulink software for perf verification
- SOR, CIR and Technical synthasis for Electric Drives, Automatic, and its shift systems(by cable and by wire)
- Basics of microcontroller, Communication protocol i.e CAN, LIN,
- DFMEA, Bench and Validation DVP preparation and execution
- Driveline system concern analysis and resolution report preparation
- Should have manufacturing and process knowledge of Transmission Aggregates
- Should be able to work with CFT including plant team and close points wrt APQP, MPDS gateway
- Should Be a team player
- Kissoft for spline and gear design
- Knowledge of project management
