About the role
Aether Semiconductors has spent the last three years supporting semiconductor equipment companies abroad with system integration, automation and equipment sub-systems, and is now expanding into precision manufacturing, cleanroom assembly and integration, and its own Etching and Deposition equipment. This role is focused on growing the business by finding and developing new customers among equipment OEMs, fabs, ATMPs and research institutions in India and overseas, and managing existing customer relationships. The person will work with engineers to understand customer requirements, build proposals, and handle the full sales cycle from outreach through negotiation and follow-up.
What you will do
- Finding and developing new customers among equipment OEMs, fabs, ATMPs and research institutions, both in India and overseas
- Managing and growing relationships with our existing customers
- Working with our engineers to understand customer requirements and put together proposals
- Handling the full cycle: outreach, meetings, quotations, negotiation and follow-up
Skills used in this role
What the employer is looking for
- An engineering background and 8–12 years in business development or technical sales
- Experience selling semiconductor equipment, sub-systems or similar capital equipment
- Existing contacts in the semiconductor industry
- Patience with long sales cycles and comfort with a lot of groundwork
