About the role

Okta is The World's Identity Company, and the Technology Data and Intelligence (TDI) team is dedicated to boosting internal efficiency through the implementation of secure, scalable, and innovative systems. The team is looking for a Senior Salesforce Product Analyst to join the TDI team and help scale internal systems with a focus on security and reliability, leveraging deep knowledge of CPQ and Sales Cloud to partner with GTM teams and uncover data-driven efficiencies. The role bridges the gap between business needs and technical solutions to drive operational success.

What you will do

  • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and challenges, translating them into detailed and actionable user stories.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of existing processes and systems to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Leverage your expertise in Salesforce CPQ to implement solutions that align with business needs. This includes product and price rule configuration, and advanced approvals.
  • Collaborate with developers and administrators to design and implement enhancements and customizations.
  • Deliver Salesforce CPQ and Salesforce.com platform updates as a core member of a team responsible for the design, development, testing, and release of enhancements and strategic projects.
  • Partner with different functions such as Deal Desk, Partner Ops, Order Management, Pricing and Packaging, and Sales Ops to design, implement, and enhance the CPQ platform for Direct and Channel Sales teams.
  • Ensure the integrity and accuracy of Salesforce data through effective data management practices.
  • Create and maintain reports and dashboards to provide insights into key performance metrics and support decision-making.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to design and implement integrations between Salesforce and other systems within the organization.
  • Ensure seamless data flow and interoperability between Salesforce and external applications.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to validate the functionality and performance of Salesforce solutions.
  • Collaborate with QA teams to address and resolve any issues identified during testing.
  • Ensure that Salesforce solutions adhere to organizational security policies and industry regulations.
  • User Journey & Documentation: Author and maintain end-to-end User Journey Maps. You will update system documentation to reflect AI-driven automations and "Human-in-the-loop" decision points.
  • Ensure that technical and user documentation is accessible and easily understandable.

Preferred qualifications

  • Certifications: Salesforce Certified Administrator, Sales Cloud Consultant, or CPQ Specialist credentials are highly preferred.
