About the role
Dell Technologies' Data Science organization works on massively parallel, data-intensive analytic processing, aiming to generate meaning and value from petabyte-scale data sets while developing new methodologies, tools, statistical methods, and models in collaboration with academics, industry experts, and engineers. The team builds production-grade machine learning systems that power product features and operations. This Senior Advisor, Machine Learning Engineer role designs, implements, and evaluates ML models with reproducible pipelines, develops feature engineering workflows, integrates models into services with telemetry and automated retraining, and runs experiments to improve accuracy, robustness, and efficiency.
What you will do
- Design, implement, and evaluate ML models with reproducible training and inference pipelines.
- Develop feature engineering workflows and data quality checks with clear documentation.
- Integrate models into services, add telemetry, and automate retraining and rollbacks.
- Conduct experiments and ablation studies to improve accuracy, robustness, and efficiency.
Skills used in this role
What the employer is looking for
- 8-12 years of related experience
- Hands-on experience with Python, ML frameworks (PyTorch/TensorFlow), and data tooling (Pandas/NumPy).
- Familiarity with cloud-native development, containers, and CI/CD.
- Strong understanding of model evaluation, monitoring, and drift detection.
- Effective collaboration skills and the ability to translate requirements into technical tasks.
Preferred qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
- Experience with vector databases, embedding models, or GPU acceleration.
