About the role
IBM Consulting works with leading companies across industries to shape their hybrid cloud and AI journeys, supported by IBM technology and Red Hat. As a Security Consultant specializing in Infrastructure Security, the role helps client IT and business executives understand Cloud & Infrastructure Security challenges, risks, and vulnerabilities. The consultant applies security and zero trust principles to develop infrastructure security strategies, incident response plans, and tailored remediation roadmaps for clients.
What you will do
- Conduct Client Assessments: Conduct interviews, workshops, and assessments to identify potential security issues and provide consulting services to analyze and resolve security incidents.
- Develop Security Strategies: Apply in-depth knowledge of secure infrastructure and applications of hybrid cloud to develop infrastructure security programs, incident response plans, and remediation recommendations and roadmaps.
- Analyze Security Incidents: Provide consulting services to analyze and resolve security incidents, enabling clients to achieve a superior security posture and effectively manage security incidents.
- Deliver Tailored Solutions: Develop infrastructure security solutions tailored to the client's business needs, applying security and zero trust principles.
- Implement Incident Response Plans: Develop and implement incident response plans to help clients manage security incidents effectively.
- Security Consulting Skills: Experience providing consulting services to clients, including conducting interviews, workshops, and assessments to identify potential security issues.
