About the role
IBM Consulting works with clients across industries on hybrid cloud and AI journeys, supported by IBM technology and Red Hat. The Data Security consulting team helps clients identify data security issues, risks, exposures and vulnerabilities, develop security strategies and respond to incidents. This role delivers client consulting across data security assessments, governance, maturity models, cloud security and incident response.
What you will do
- Analyze Security Issues: Conduct interviews, workshops, and assessments to identify Data Security issues, risks, exposures, and vulnerabilities, and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Develop Security Strategies: Apply security principles and knowledge of Data security technologies, maturity models, and best practices to define business drivers and develop associated data security strategy, programs, incident response plans, and remediation recommendations and roadmaps.
- Resolve Security Incidents: Provide consulting services to analyze and resolve security incidents, and support clients in achieving a superior security posture.
- Deliver Consulting Services: Collaborate with clients to understand their security needs and deliver tailored consulting services to address their specific challenges.
- Implement Best Practices: Apply knowledge of Data security technologies, maturity models, and best practices to support clients in implementing effective security measures.
