About the role
IBM Consulting works with leading companies across industries on hybrid cloud and AI journeys, supported by IBM technology, strategic partners, and Red Hat. This Cloud Security Consultant role helps client IT and business executives strategize security across hybrid and multi-cloud platforms. The consultant designs and implements security services across risk and compliance, application, data, endpoint, and network domains.
What you will do
- Define Business Drivers: Identify and articulate business needs and objectives to inform cloud security strategies and solutions, ensuring alignment with client goals and priorities.
- Design Security Services: Develop and implement comprehensive security services across multiple domains, addressing native and non-native security concerns in cloud environments.
- Implement Security Solutions: Apply technical expertise to deliver cloud security solutions, collaborating with clients to address their unique security challenges and requirements.
- Provide Security Guidance: Offer expert guidance on cloud security best practices, risk management, and compliance to help clients make informed decisions about their cloud security posture.
- Multi-Cloud Security Implementation: Experience working with hybrid and multi-cloud platforms to implement comprehensive security services, addressing native and non-native security concerns.
- Technical Solution Delivery: Experience applying technical expertise to deliver cloud security solutions, collaborating with stakeholders to address unique security challenges and requirements.
- Advanced Threat Protection: Experience working with cloud security solutions to address native and non-native security concerns, including risk management and compliance.
