About the role
The Global Trade Foundations team builds a central agentic platform that empowers sellers to expand their cross-border business across worldwide Amazon stores, serving over 700K sellers in US, EU, JP and emerging marketplaces. The systems are built with agents, LLMs and real-time recommendations to scale across multiple marketplaces in a large-scale Pan EU landscape. This SDE II role leads the tech team, defines coherent architecture, and delivers capabilities across worldwide Amazon Stores alongside SDEs, Applied Scientists, Product Managers and Principals in a co-located agile ecosystem.
What you will do
- We are looking for a SDE 2 to lead our tech team, and build coherent architecture and deliver capabilities across WW Amazon Stores.
Skills used in this role
What the employer is looking for
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Preferred qualifications
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
