About the role
AMD's Design Engineering team works on modern, complex architectures and digital design and verification to deliver industry-leading semiconductor technologies to market. The team builds and integrates in-house and vendor IPs, subsystems, and SoCs, with a focus on high-speed interface IP such as PCIe, DDR, USB, and Ethernet. This role is an RTL design and integration position covering static quality checks, constraints ownership, and cross-site collaboration to achieve timing closure and verification robustness.
What you will do
- Develop/Maintain design and integration for various in-house/vendor IPs, subsystems and SoC. Preferred knowledge on PCIE, DDR, USB, Ethernet.
- Ensure quality of the IP/Subsystem/SoC through various static QCs viz LINT, CDC, RDC, CLP/VCLP.
- Develop/Own various constraints like SDC, UPF, etc,
- Interact with various stakeholders to ensure timing closure and verification robustness of your design.

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Electronics/VLSI/computer engineering/Electrical Engineering with 5+Yrs of exp
Preferred qualifications
- Familiarity with RTL coding and various indistry standard protocols like PCie, AMBA etc.
- Familiarity with various QC tools/flows and IPXACT.
- Strong fundamentals of VLSI, FIFO, arbitration techniques etc.
