About the role
Revenue Operations, part of DigitalOcean's Revenue Organization, owns the systems that power the go-to-market motion — Salesforce at the center, connected to sales engagement (Outreach), customer success (Planhat), CPQ (DealHub), enrichment (Clay, Sumble), and a Snowflake data layer. The team keeps the request queue moving, users unblocked, and the GTM systems healthy day to day. This Revenue Systems Administrator role is the front line of that stack, handling triage, provisioning, error diagnosis, configuration, data hygiene, and documentation, with room to grow into GTM architecture and AI-powered operations.
What you will do
- Monitor and triage the request queue (Jira): categorize incoming requests from Sales, Support, Marketing, and Partner teams, resolve what you can, gather missing details, and route the rest to the right owner with clear context
- Handle day-to-day administration: user provisioning and deprovisioning across the GTM stack (Salesforce, Outreach, Planhat, and others), license management, permission updates, and access requests
- Diagnose errors and sync issues: investigate Salesforce flow errors, integration failures, and data sync mismatches; resolve known issues using runbooks and escalate new ones with a clear write-up of what you found
- Complete standard configuration work: field additions and mapping updates, report and dashboard requests, list view and layout changes, picklist maintenance, and routine data loads
- Support data hygiene: identify and fix duplicates, misrouted records, and enrichment gaps flagged by users or monitoring
- Maintain documentation: keep runbooks, FAQs, and how-to guides current as you resolve issues, so common problems get faster to fix each time
- Use AI tools in your daily work (Claude, MCP-connected tools) to speed up diagnosis, drafting, and repetitive tasks — and flag opportunities where automation could remove work entirely
- Learn continuously: shadow senior engineers on project work and grow toward owning small enhancements end to end
Skills used in this role
What the employer is looking for
- 3+ years of experience administering Salesforce or comparable GTM/business systems in a production environment
- Working knowledge of Salesforce fundamentals: users, profiles/permission sets, reports, flows (reading and basic edits), and data loading
- Exposure to at least one other GTM tool category — sales engagement, CS platforms, marketing automation, or enrichment — and eagerness to learn the rest of the stack
- Strong troubleshooting instincts: you form hypotheses, test them methodically, and write up what you found so others can follow it
- Service orientation: you communicate clearly with non-technical stakeholders, set expectations, and follow through
- Attention to detail with permissions and data — you understand that access and data changes in production carry real risk
- Comfort using AI assistants in daily work, and curiosity about where they can do more
- Salesforce Administrator certification (or in progress) is a plus
- Ability to work EST hours
Benefits and support
- Reimbursement for relevant conferences, training, and education
- Access to LinkedIn Learning's 10,000+ courses
- Employee Assistance Program
- Local Employee Meetups
- Flexible time off policy

- Equity compensation, including equity grants upon hire and the option to participate in the Employee Stock Purchase Program
