About the role

The role sits within Bosch's research work on advanced simulation of vibration and structural mechanics, with a focus on identifying material properties and their behavior under thermal loads. The domain covers vibration modeling of automotive and industrial components, combining physics-based 3D multi-physics models with AI/ML approaches. This researcher will develop improved modeling strategies, build and run the required simulations, and perform scripting and coding tasks within international teams.

What you will do

  • The focus is set on advanced simulation of vibration and structural mechanics and identifying material properties and their behavior under thermal loads.
  • You will have to develop improved modeling strategies for vibration of automotive and industrial components considering material properties under various thermal loads
  • You'll have to leverage your skills and knowledge of vibration mechanics and material science to build the requisite models and perform the required simulations.
  • You'll be required to perform the necessary scripting, coding and linting tasks for various related 3D multi-physics models.
  • Furthermore, for efficiency and accuracy improvements as required you'll have to combine physics-based models with AI/ML approaches.
  • You will work in international teams and perform necessary development/implementation to accomplish the tasks.
