About the role
Qualcomm India Private Limited's Engineering Group > Software Engineering team works on software for wireless and networking platforms. The role is centered on the RDK framework with CCSP/HAL, wireless technologies such as Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n, 802.11ax and 802.11be, and networking and security protocols including TCP, UDP, VLAN, NAT, firewall, WPA2, 802.1X and WPA3. The engineer will develop C/C++ software on Linux platforms with a focus on network programming and Multi-AP EasyMesh technologies.

What the employer is looking for
- 3+ years of software development experience
- Proficiency in C/C++ programming and well-versed in Linux shell scripting
- Strong development experience in RDK framework with CCSP/HAL
- Strong understanding of Wireless Technology: Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n, 802.11ax, 802.11be,
- Knowledge of Security Requirements: WPA2, 802.11i, 802.1X, WPA3, Enterprise.
- Experience in Multi-AP EasyMesh technologies, Airties, plume, is a plus.
- Strong background in networking protocols including TCP, UDP, VLAN, NAT, firewall.
- Solid understanding of network programming on Linux platforms.
- Experience with Qualcomm SDK is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience. OR Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering or related work experience. OR PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
- 2+ years of academic or work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
