About the role
IBM Finance & Operations provides insight and discipline that guide strategy, ensure financial strength, and enable IBM to invest in innovation and growth, partnering across functions and geographies using data, technology, and process excellence. As a Quote to Cash Professional, you will apply Q2C process knowledge to perform supply and demand management transactions across the extended enterprise. The role focuses on accurate handling of quotes, proposals, contracts, order and billing transactions, and customer master records to drive client satisfaction and sales productivity.
What you will do
- Manage Quote to Cash Transactions: Prepare quotes, proposals, contracts, and agreements, and execute defined fulfillment processes in line with business controls to meet business objectives.
- Ensure Accurate Processing: Handle processing/transaction requirements accurately, and promote client satisfaction and sales productivity through efficient order, billing, and end-to-end transactions.
- Execute Order to Cash Integration: Integrate order to cash processes to ensure seamless transactions across the extended enterprise.
- Maintain Customer Records: Manage customer master records to ensure accuracy and up-to-date information.
- Perform Contract Audit and Registration: Conduct contract audits and register contracts to ensure compliance with business controls.
- Fulfillment Process Execution: Experience executing defined fulfillment processes in line with business controls to meet business objectives.

- Transaction Management: Experience in managing quote to cash transactions, including quote/proposal preparation, contract audit and registration, order, billing, and end-to-end transactions.
- Order to Cash Integration: Experience integrating order to cash processes to ensure seamless transactions across the extended enterprise.
- Contract Management: Experience with basic contract/agreement preparation and contract audit and registration to ensure compliance with business controls.
- Advanced Q2C Process Knowledge: Experience with complex Quote to Cash transactions, including supply and demand management across multiple stakeholders. Ability to analyze and optimize Q2C processes to improve efficiency and client satisfaction.
- Integrated Order to Cash Expertise: Experience integrating order to cash processes with other business functions, such as sales and customer service, to ensure seamless transactions and improved sales productivity.
- Contract Management Expertise: Experience with advanced contract management, including contract negotiation, audit, and registration, to ensure compliance with business controls and regulatory requirements.
