About the role

The App and Ecosystem Trust (AET) team ensures safe, secure, and trustworthy experiences across Google's global app ecosystem, and Mokka is its core review engine that processes every app submission, update, and runtime signal to protect billions of users from security vulnerabilities, policy violations, and malicious behavior. As Product Manager for Mokka in Bengaluru, the role leads the strategy and tactical execution of next-generation review infrastructure, bridging ML-driven detection capabilities with developer velocity. The work spans building automated static, dynamic, and LLM-assisted review pipelines, designing human-in-the-loop review interfaces, and aligning ML Research, Security Engineering, Policy Operations, and Developer Relations teams.

What you will do

  • Define the multi-year product roadmap for Mokka, the app safety review platform, to scale under submission volume increases driven by AI-assisted code generation (vibe coding).
  • Balance friction-free onboarding for legitimate developers with verification checks for high-risk or automated app factories.
  • Partner closely with ML Research, Security Engineering, Policy Operations, and Developer Relations across global sites, driving alignment across vertical AET teams to ensure Mokka functions seamlessly as a unified trust platform.
  • Architect automated static, dynamic, and LLM-assisted review pipelines that intercept modern security threats before apps reach production, designing defenses against emerging AI vulnerabilities, including malicious model weights, indirect prompt injection vectors, agentic permission escalation, and generative privacy leaks.
  • Partner with teams to design intelligent human-in-the-loop review interfaces, leveraging generative AI assistants to speed up analyst workflows and reduce manual cognitive load.
