About the role
The AI Infrastructure GPU Delivery team at Oracle plans, coordinates, and delivers infrastructure for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure's AI and GPU portfolio, partnering with engineering, cloud platform, networking, SRE, data center operations, observability, finance, and hardware partners. The Principal Technical Program Manager will oversee planning, execution, and operational readiness of strategic AI infrastructure and GPU delivery initiatives. The role focuses on integrated execution plans, governance, cross-functional alignment, executive reporting, and delivery across multiple concurrent infrastructure programs.
What you will do
- Own the end-to-end execution of complex AI infrastructure and GPU delivery programs, from strategic planning and deployment readiness through operational handoff.
- Identify, prioritize, and successfully execute a broad portfolio of cross-functional initiatives while managing multiple programs concurrently.
- Develop and maintain integrated program plans that define milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, owners, key decisions, and committed actions.
- Coordinate delivery across Engineering, Cloud Platform, Networking, SRE, Data Center Operations, Observability, Finance, Business Operations, hardware partners, and executive leadership.
- Establish and lead program operating mechanisms, including weekly execution reviews, readiness assessments, governance forums, executive business reviews, and cross-functional planning sessions.
- Monitor GPU fleet readiness, deployment progress, operational health, service availability, and reliability across current and next-generation AI platforms.
- Manage deployment governance, operational readiness reviews, stakeholder transitions, and change management processes to ensure successful service delivery.
- Navigate complex dependencies across organizations, resolve execution risks, drive mitigation plans, and ensure accountability through program completion.
- Serve as the primary escalation point between engineering and operations to accelerate issue resolution and remove execution blockers.
- Establish structured incident management processes, including root-cause analysis, corrective and preventive action tracking, and verification of long-term resolutions.
- Develop executive-level reporting and dashboards that communicate program health, operational KPIs, customer impact, dependencies, financial status, risks, mitigation plans, and key decisions.
- Partner with Observability and Telemetry teams to improve visibility into GPU health, network fabric performance, RDMA, RoCE, InfiniBand, and overall service health.
- Collaborate with internal engineering organizations and external hardware partners to improve deployment quality, operational efficiency, and time to resolution.
- Establish scalable program management frameworks, documentation standards, runbooks, playbooks, onboarding materials, and repeatable delivery processes.
- Drive continuous improvement through automation, AI-assisted workflows, data-driven decision making, validation frameworks, version readiness, and operational optimization.
- Build and maintain consistent reporting, scorecards, KPIs, and program metrics to support executive decision-making and portfolio management.
