About the role
The Audit Platform team at Atlassian provides real-time visibility into actions across the Atlassian ecosystem, building high-throughput distributed streaming and storage systems that capture billions of activity and policy decision events. The platform powers compliance logging, AI and non-human identity governance, insider risk management, and security investigations across Cloud products. This Principal Fullstack Engineer role will architect and build the audit event platform at massive scale, mentor engineers, and drive cross-team delivery.
What you will do
- Define the architecture and roadmap that continuously support hyper customer growth at Atlassian
- Regularly tackle the largest and most complex problems on the team, from technical design to launch
- Propose libraries and shared components that unlock the potential of other Atlassian teams
- Routinely solve complex architecture challenges and set the standards that new projects are built on
- Champion a high technical bar across the org, and evangelize engineering best practices
- Partner across engineering teams to drive company-wide initiatives spanning multiple projects
- Transfer your depth of knowledge and raise the level of engineering excellence around you
- Grow the people around you, coaching engineers, elevating their skills, and helping them do the best work of their careers
