About the role
The role leads a practice focused on enterprise-wide application development, cloud services, and the Microsoft D365 platform, including delivery of custom applications and cloud programs. It oversees Microsoft technology practices, with HCM and testing practice experience noted as an advantage, and operates across AWS and Azure cloud platforms. The practice head is responsible for project delivery, IT solutions aligned to ITIL, DevOps, SDLC, Agile, PMI, PCI, and security best practices, risk management, cost efficiency, customer satisfaction, and team development.
What you will do
- You will lead the strategic direction, management and implementation of enterprise-wide application development, cloud services, Microsoft D365 platform and Implementation experience.
- Experience in managing Microsoft Technology practices, HCM, Testing Practice will be an added advantage.
- Experience in managing cloud platforms(AWS and Azure)
- Deliver projects/program on an ongoing basis, evaluating progress and quality, managing risks / issues, and taking corrective action as necessary to meet project/program deadlines.
- Deliver IT solutions according to ITIL, DevOps, SDLC, Agile, PMI, PCI, and Security best practices. This includes successful organizational design, strategic hiring, performance and compensation management, training & developing team capabilities and growing practice skillsets.
- Oversee the management of operations, deliverables to have better efficacy.
- Driving the cost efficiency of the competency clusters, maximizing the Business Units throughput & productivity and focus on the inclusive culture of the company.
- Deliver consistently high customer satisfaction, measured through formal and informal feedback.
- Manage and mitigate risks across Technical and Operational processes and customer servicing functions.
- Enhance the workplace through leadership, employee engagement and personnel development.
- Work with business partners to accurately forecast and support business growth strategies.
- Work with Service Delivery Heads / Project Managers closely to adopt customer friendly strategies to execute timeliness in project deliverables.
- Drive innovation and solution mindset resulting in products/ services in new technology areas

- 18+ years
- Prior experience in any IT delivery role in Custom Applications Development(end to end) Verification & Validation and Cloud, . Experience in Microsoft/Opensource technologies, Cloud platform (e.g. Azure, AWS) is preferred.
