About the role
Google's Trust & Safety team identifies and takes on the biggest problems that challenge the safety and integrity of Google products, working globally and cross-functionally with engineers and product managers to fight abuse and fraud and protect users across Google products in over 40 languages. As a Policy Enforcement Manager dedicated to enforcing the policies of YouTube’s Partner Program, the role drives the overall strategy and enforcement approach for all policies in this area. The role works with a cross-functional team across Policy Development, Product, Engineering, Legal, Ads Policy and Scaled Abuse to operationalize scalable policies across areas such as Hate, Misinformation, Adult, Reused content and Kids, while educating Creators, and requires review of graphic, controversial and offensive video content as well as rotational on-call work on weekends and holidays.
What you will do
- Be responsible for specific areas of vertical performance and extended workforce operations, including quality. Research and stay up-to-date on key trends and suspicious patterns of abuse across the team’s policy areas.
- Demonstrate an understanding of how our YouTube Partner Program (YPP) policies impact YouTube users, platform changes and new product launches.
- Liaise with policy, Public Relations, Legal and Partnerships teams to craft and implement process solutions to emerging threats and improve Creator education.
- Generate ideas for policy changes to improve quality and reduce operational burden. Manage and shape relationships with Product and Engineering teams to increase detection, sophistication, and enforcement efficiency.
- Manage sensitive escalations end-to-end, partnering with key cross functional and executive stakeholders to drive solutions. Prepare presentations and clearly communicate initiatives to management and to the broader organization.

- Experience in content policy, anti-abuse, and reviewing online content.
- Experience with identifying abuse trends or working in policy.
- Experience with SQL and spreadsheets.
- Ability to build relationships with cross-functional partners across geographies.
- Ability to use data to drive strategy and business action.
- Exceptional problem solving skills, including using data to drive strategy and business action.
